KS1 visits and activities | KS2 visits and activities Whole class visits to the Museum can be made on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and you can find out more information and how to book a visit under our Contact us section. You can prepare your own material for a visit and you can find lots of useful information on the website to help you do that. Alternatively you can use the downloadable activity sheets we have prepared to use on your visit. You can photocopy as many as you need. We suggest you allow an hour for a visit by KS1 children and one and a half hours for KS2 children.
Introduction | KS2 visits and activities You can download a variety of worksheets all with different themes. There are five to choose from covering materials, shape, space and measure, similarities and differences and literacy. You can bring as many as you like along to the Museum depending on the age and ability of your class but we suggest that three is the optimum number for most KS1 children. Look in the After you visit pack for suggestions on how the children can use the information they have gathered for follow up activities.
